1. Apply high temp anti-seize to the threads of the sensor, but do not allow any to get on the sensor probe.
2. Install the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) outlet temperature sensor (1) to the 1-BOX™ configuration.
Torque to 35-38 N·m (26-28 lb·ft)
3. Connect the DPF outlet temperature sensor electrical connector and install onto the mounting bracket.
4. Connect the batteries. Refer to OEM procedures.
5. If removed, install the passenger side fairing. Refer to OEM procedures
Description and Operation of the Fuel Compensation Pressure
Sensor
The fuel compensation pressure sensor (1) monitors fuel pressure in the hydrocarbon doser block assembly to
properly deliver the correct amount of fuel from the electronic dosing valve.
Removal of the Fuel Compensation Pressure Sensor
Remove as follows:
1. Shut off engine and apply the parking brake, chock the wheels, and perform any other applicable safety
steps.
2. Disconnect the batteries.
3. Unplug the connector for the fuel compensation pressure sensor.
4. Remove the hydrocarbon doser block assembly, Refer to section “Removal of the Hydrocarbon Fuel Doser Block “
5. Loosen two bolts and remove the fuel compensation pressure sensor from the hydrocarbon doser block
assembly.
6. Remove the fuel compensation pressure sensor.
Installation of the Fuel Compensation Pressure Sensor
Install as follows:
1. Install new fuel compensation pressure sensor into doser block assembly using two bolts. Torque bolts to
11 N·m (8 lb·ft).
2. Install the hydrocarbon doser block assembly.
